What are some of your lifetime running goals?
My goal is to be able to keep running, then once I am running I just want to run faster! I would love to have the opportunity to represent the USA more in international competitions and to compete in the top trail ultras in the US.
Do you have a claim to fame?
Not yet, maybe soon . . .
Do you have any vices?
Running. And chocolate.
What makes you tick as a runner and in the real world?
We just got a new pendulum clock, it ticks really loud.
What drives you to run?
I run for the dopamine release, running just makes me feel better.
What is your favorite movie?
Life through the Eye of a Runner. It hasn't come out yet. :)
Do you have any nicknames? Explain:
Not really
What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?
I like sleep. I like to go to bed at 10:00 every night. Hopefully I will be able to stay awake if I ever run a 100 Mile!
If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?

What did you have for lunch yesterday?
Yogurt, an orange, a Fiber One bar and a small piece of pound cake that a patient gave me. While I watched her cut it, I kept thinking "Dammit woman, cut a larger piece!"
If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?
Words, I am very concrete.
What really scares you about trail running?
Heights, cliffs, rocks, mud, mud covered rocks, rock covered mud, steep decents, snow, snow covered steep decents, ice, dogs, bees, . . . It is good to do things that scare you.
If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?
I would be in Jason's movie, Life through the Eye of a Runner. I play the normal person.
Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?
I guess California so I could run all the great races out there! Somewhere warm.
What’s your worst encounter on the trail?
Last fall Jason and I were running through a field, we ran right past a rattlesnake. Thing is, Jason was in front so he startled it and I would have been the one who got bit. The snake went to rattling, but it was not posed to strike.
