What are some of your lifetime running goals?
To do more multi-day adventures on the trail. It is such a great experience to become immersed in the experience.
Do you have a claim to fame?
Appearing in the tv show Canadian Made, in an episode featuring snowshoe running.
Do you have any vices?
None, I only drink the healthy kinds of coffee and beer.
What makes you tick as a runner and in the real world?
Being in nature and finding a sense of peace and calm, and then trying to hang onto that feeling until the next time out.
What drives you to run?
Getting outside, feeling fit, working towards my goals. I'm a better person after I run.
What is your favorite movie?
Life of Pi

Sar. It saves a syllable.
What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?
Hong Kong Trailwalker 100k which went through the night, and then flying home two days later. Not a good combo for sleep.
If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?
Oregon because my best friend lives there.
What did you have for lunch yesterday?
Falafel on pita with veggies and hot sauce.
If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?
Way too many words, then I'll go for a run to make some sense of them.
What really scares you about trail running?
The thought of a 100 miler, which is why I need to do one!

Crazy Ugly Toes
Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?
Somewhere sparsely populated, wild, and beautiful with miles of amazing trails ... and a good pub.
What’s your worst encounter on the trail?
Lots of falls, nothing very serious. Cold rain can make things miserable.
