As a climber I like to always be climbing at some level. After 23 years climbing I can't always be super psyched so I try and be patient and always have fun. The psych always comes back! In the real world I love working as a mountain guide and giving my guests a memorable experience. At home I just love spending time with my wife and our cats and dog.
What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies? The fame? What?
What drives me to climb is the actual movement. Often times I don't like the packing or the travel but the actual movement always puts a smile on my face. In addition finding myself in wild places with views that can't be dreamed up in company of great friends is what drives me!

The thought of making a stupid human error and killing myself or someone else. I'm not afraid of big run outs, thin ice pillars etc... but that stupid error frightens me!
