I was (and always will be) Montana's grand champion sheep showman at the Montana State fair.

Do you have any vices?

I MUST have hot tang while ice climbing.

What makes you tick as a climber and in the real world?

I love being in the hills... I also enjoy all the different climbing partners and relationships I have had while climbing and living life.

What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies? The fame? What?

I am begining to think that climbing may be hardwired into my DNA.

What is your favorite movie?

The Gods must be crazy

Do you have any nicknames? Explain:

My friends call me LoLo, my parents call me Dubbs.

What’s the longest you’ve gone without sleep? Why?

Rusty Willis and I did a 27 hour car-car climb of the Bear's tooth spire (Montana) in winter which made us pretty tired; but the longest was around 50 hours while bailing from the Moose's Tooth in Alaska.

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?

I still think Montana, although Idaho sounds funny.

What did you have for lunch yesterday?

No lunch yesterday, just hot tang.

If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head, would you see pictures, hear words or would music be playing?

Most likely music (country western) and random pictures that have nothing to do with anything going on in the present moment.

What really scares you about climbing?

Avalanches, falling snow mushrooms, falling rocks, having my climbing partner get hurt because of something I did.

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?

The Choss Revolution (for the love of choss)

Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?

Nepal, but I am really starting to admire how wild the mountains of Wyoming are.

Have no food or have no gasoline?

No gasoline - As long as I can eat I can walk.

Do you wish you had sexier feet?

yes, but then everything else about me would have to get sexier too to balance it all out.
