The PA Trail Dogs have struck gold with this course. It's a grueling 30K with over 5000 feet of elevation gain!!! Rothrock State Forest is full of single track trails with vistas, stream crossings, extreme elevation changes, and a maze of boulders and cliffs. Voted as one of the ten best trail races in the country by La Sportiva's Mountain Cup Race Series. This is trail running at its best!!! The race will proceed 6.3 miles up the Barr Trail gaining 3,630′ where it will turn around at Barr Camp at 10,200′. Runners will then head back down the Barr Trail to Hydro Street where they will turn left and up with the finish being in the pullout to the right for a total of 12.575 miles. More...
