More sizes means a better fit! La Sportiva shoes are built on European half sizes which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives us five extra sizes per size run, which gives you a better fit!

Wonderful fit and quality! A great liner as well. The laceing helps low profile feet get a good fit. A good walker, and crank it down with little or no heal slip for the steep stuff. Comfy, yes for a double boot, and very warm! 40 years in mountaineering boots and THIS IS IT!!!

Really happy with these boots. They replaced my Nepals for everything but the warmest spring snow climbing. I'm pretty consistently a size 10 & got these in a 44, which is a perfect fit. I have a relatively narrow and low volume foot. When i purchased these boots the toes were snug and I felt pressure from the top of the boot right over my toes. I heat molded the liners and after that they fit fantastic (i cut a thin sock to cover the front 2/3 of my feet, placed 1 toe spacer over my toes & then placed a ski sock over that. I placed the heated liners on with an aftermarket footbed slid on the shell and laced them up. I walked around for ~20 minutes, did some calf raises over a broom handle. My heel is locked down pretty damn well! This did the trick! I've hiked a few 14ers, lead WI4/5 in them and have not been disappointed in their performance. Since they fit so well, they actually climb vertical ice better than my Nepals. I am so happy I pulled the trigger on these boots! If you are looking for a really warm, sturdy boot with a reasonably customized fit that does everything well, you should check out this boot.
