Great hiking boots! Light and comfortable. Provide very good ankle support.

Review for FC ECO 3.0 GTX
Just bought these. Went out for a short, but steep hike and love the fit of these boots. I have a narrow heel and always seem to have trouble finding a boot that won't give me blisters. I have tried just about every brand out there over the years, and i think I have finally found the one for me. Can't speak to durability yet, but they are very comfortable right out of the box (I didn't break them in at all). Good grip on a fairly steep downhill as well. If you have a narrow heel like I do, and have had problems with blisters, this may be the boot you have been looking for too. Kudos to La Sportiva for the Eco-friendly features. And I hope you will keep making this boot for a long time.

Review for FC ECO 3.0 GTX
Attention older hikers! My first pair of boots that I bought at age 17 was size 9 1/2. At age 71, I weigh only 10 lbs. more than I did then, but I wear size 11 1/2 or 12. Clown feet! I have trouble finding boots that are comfortable for my wide forefoot, but don't slip in the heel. After trying maybe 10 pairs in the store I bought these, and after 25-30 miles on the trail I've concluded they are an excellent fit. Lightweight, comfortable, decent traction. My only complaint is that the front edge of the heel is very sharp, and tends to catch on things and has almost caused me to trip a couple of times. I am considering shaving the edge down, and will see if that helps.

Review for FC ECO 3.0 GTX
I bought these FC ECO 3.0 GTX boots before I went on my backpacking excursion into the Wilderness park for 4 days. I would recommend buying these boots. I backpacked up 5000 feet of elevation change this past weekend and didn't have any problems with the terrain. Went through muddy, snowy and even rocky trails with ease. These boots gave plenty support for my small ankles. I am excited to go on more hiking and backpacking trips knowing I have these great boots on my feet. Great Job making these boots La Sportiva !

Review for FC ECO 3.0 GTX
Overall these are very quality boots. I have worn them for one fall and winter. Comfortable and have a nice hold on foot. They are lightweight and seem fairly durable. It is really nice to have the split in the leather at the toes as it makes walking more comfortable and it may help with the durability there. I wish there was more room in the toe area for my toes to spread out.
