Comfortable, water-proof, and warm
As the others have been saying, these have been the best boots I've ever owned. Since 2013, I've hiked hundreds of miles, mostly in dry Californian trails and snowy mountains in the Alps. They are super-comfortable, very water-proof (often, more than the mountaineering boots than my buddies would bring), and warm. After 3.5 years, the threads on the sole are not very sharp anymore, and a couple of seams seem to be undoing, but just wore them yesterday during 8 hours of a snow hike, and my feet were perfectly dry. Very satisfied.

Great boots for everything
I bought this boots almost 2 and half years ago, I started using them for a little of trekking and they are super comfy, I have used them for rock climbing and the stiffed sole works perfect, I have used them to walk through small rivers and the waterproof is awesome.
These boots are so good that I started to used them as a daily shoe, I even use them to go to work I'm kinda in love of them, 2 1/2 years using them almost daily for normal walking to rock climbing abuse and they are barely beated, I would say that they can still be used for another 2 years without a problem.

I would recommend this to anybody.

Review for OMEGA GTX
I needed a beefier hiking boot. I chose this one as I have enjoyed La Sportiva gear (mountaineering, daily use) for some time. I broke these in walking in the bamboo forest on Haleakala. I have since used them in Canyonlands and in the Colorado Rockies. These boots are comfortable, supportive, dry and durable. Thanks...

One word. Amazing. These boots are light, fast, have a great tred pattern that will hold on most anything short of a slip-n-slide, and are so compfortable and suportive out of the box it isn't even funny. With almost zero wear time, I took these out for a 20 miler with about 45lbs and had no problems what so ever. If you need anything short of a true mountaineering boot, this is as good as you are going to get without shelling out major bucks for custom boots that will weigh twice what these do.

Review for OMEGA GTX
I purchased these off the shelf @ REI about 2 years ago for a 20+ mile trek on Santa Catalina Island. These babies performed like no other boot in my life. So comfortable, yet so rugged. It appears that the newest iteration of sole is a bit different than my pair - these boots I continued to wear as daily footwear. Hey they are that comfortable.

I needed a beefier, more stiffer pair of backpacking boots so i bought these. Hands down the best boots ive ever owned. Used them for a mountaineering trip up Mt. San Gorgonio in Febuary. Great backpacking boot, and also work great with crampons.

Review for OMEGA GTX
The Omega GTX by La Sportiva is the best all around hiker I've ever had the pleasure of owning. I had never even heard of this company until I went to REI and discovered these dream boots on sale! First off, they have virtually no break in period as i have yet to get a single blister (super comfy). The "Gortex Waterproofing is effective and the "Vibram" sole is super meaty and wont let you you down. I would recommend this boot to anybody that is searching for a combination of quality materials and comfort galore.
