Dont Love Em
Wanted to love these shoes as other readers said. Design, Weight, breathable, hybrid sneaker/hiker design etc. After some moderate use on trails I also experienced some foot pain due to width - these are fairly narrow and I have a wider foot. What I realized is the GTX and exterior design of the shoe has no give / play and doesnt really stretch out like other shoes - wont be wanting them on big long hikes

Comfort, easy and versatile.
Excellent light weight multi use shoe / boot. Picked up a pair specifically for Zion wet canyon use. Held up to tons of abuse. 8 months of almost daily wear, snow removal, hard concrete - just starting to break down as a primary shoe. Just got in my replacement pair of same shoe. A new favorite. Worth the price.

The best hot weather shoe... Before they fall apart.
I will start off by saying that I love the shoes. They are comfortable and breathe great. They provide adamant support for light loads (hiked up Aligonquin in the ADKs and other hikes around that technically trail level). The grip is good on wet surfaces. Now here is the but. At $185 they should not be coming apart at the seems. I have akasha trail runners that have been put through the same abuse if not more and are holding up much better. So if you're willing to pay the price knowing that they won't last long then I would recommend them because again I loved them for their limited life.

Great shoe for moderate hiking and backpacking. Some durability issues.
I bought this shoe to use while hiking the Tour Du Mont Blanc trail. The shoe is very light and extremely comfortable. It does not require any break-in. I do like the lacing system as it allows for easy shoe removal. The shoe does have some durability issues though. The sole has peeled off on the front and under the arch of the foot on both shoes. A lot of the fabric on the shoe has also worn through to the foam underneath. These shoes are better light hikers than serious backpacking boots. I also had an issue with the heels not fitting very well and causing blisters from the pressure. I think this was probably attributed to being on my feet constantly for six weeks though.

Maybe it's just me...
I have no issues walking on ice in these shoes. They seem to grip to many different surfaces quite well and my foot stays dry walking in deep snow, so that is a bonus. Time for the bad. After wearing these shoes for about eight hours on two different occasions my feet couldn't handle them anymore. My left foot had no issues; however, the right foot seemed just a touch to narrow. I don't understand why. Next, only after having these shoes for about two (maybe three) weeks the shoe lace broke. I had very high expectations for these shoes after reading some amazing reviews and seeing amazing video reviews, but unfortunately I cannot wear them for long durations.
