Love these! My sister recommended them and I tell lots of people about them. Also wish they were available in Canada.

LOVE these hobnails. It's totally changed how I can run soupy wet forest trails in the winter. I have had a challenging time finding decent traction trail running shoes in a size 48 (La Sportiva - are you listening??) that actually have decent traction. There are many brands that claim to be "sticky rubber," but end up being just plain deadly (too slippery).

The AT Hobnails totally changes that... any half-baked "hi traction" trail shoe can become a winter runner's dream shoe with these little gems.

Highly Recommend - would just really like to see these in Canada now.

I wore these in my ordinary running shoes last winter. They are a vast improvement over any other traction aid that I have used in the past. It is nice that they can be moved around easily to customize the grip for your particular gait and winter conditions. I highly recommend them.

These simple devices attach easily and securely into the base of the shoe, and provide excellent traction on ice and packed snow. I used mine on my Crosslites, inserting them into the main outsole, and not on the tread nubs - this allowed for normal traction on the dirt trails, but enough of a spike grip with the Hobnails above the tread once I headed into the snowy conditions at the tops of mountains. You have to position the Hobnails carefully doing this, placing them where they do not put pressure on the ball of your foot.
