"This is the most comfortable approach shoe I have ever worn that also climbs like a champ. The Boulder X comes from a long history in the La Sportiva line up and this shoe improves and has built on its ancestry. The padding in this shoe is what puts it above its competitors. The Vibram Idro Grip rubber is some of the stickiest I have ever used in an approach shoe." Read the Colorado Mountain School Review

Wore them all weekend in Joshua Tree, held great in class 3 scrambling, free soloed some low class 5 stuff and finished off with a 10 mile hike on the last of three days. My feet felt great all day and the day after. Great Shoe.

I have worn through shoes after one Zion wall. This is the first shoe that has held up to standing in aiders all day, hiking miles with a pack, and route setting in the local climbing gym.

Whether it's a long day approach to an alpine spire in Rocky Mountain National Park or a quick walk to one of Eldorado Canyon's classic routes, the Boulder X is the ideal choice. It's burly enough to take a rough trail and climbs well to the base of the route.- Mark Hammond, Colorado Mountain School Head Guide
