I got the Ganda Guide January 2012. I am impressed with the durability, grip, and comfort of this shoe! I do everything in this shoe from fast ropeing out of helicopters, flying on helicopters, parachuting, backpacking and of course when I am doing high angle rescue work!

Just took the Ganda Guide up the Grand. Very good shoes for a wide variety of situations. I'm going to start using them on the CO 14ers. They should handle the scree fields very well.

The Ganda Guides rock! They fit perfectly right out of the box, and performed better than I could hope for the following day. They did 10 laps in the gym at 5.8 - .10 – unlaced – no problem. I took them up the next day on a ski descent attempt on the Grand Teton. The traction in the snow was remarkable, and they staved off water/snowmelt considerably well. I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and guiding in Sportivas.

I was fortunate enough to get a pair of the Ganda Guides in the summer of 2009, and was instantly hooked. This shoe is without a doubt the most comfortable, best performing, highest quality approach shoe that I have ever used, period. Guiding for Exum in the Tetons requires long approaches on a daily basis, combined with miles and miles of technical terrain, so having one shoe that can do everything is paramount. Thanks La Sportiva for producing a true "quiver of one" approach shoe for the mountains. I already look forward to a third season in the same pair of shoes!

I put the Ganda Guide on in July and spent the summer guiding in the Tetons. Four Grand Traverses, the Black Fin to the summit of Mt Moran, many Exum ridge ascents, several Symmetry Spire climbs and endless days teaching rock climbing in the Valley. After two months of guiding I used them to trek into Nuptse base camp. After all that all they need is a little rand repair and they are ready for more climbing!
