After 4 years of wearing these for trail runs, hikes, snow, rain, canyoneering, I finally decided to buy new shoes - I ended up on my second pair of these. I have a wider toe base and these fit great.
What I like: lightweight, breathable, and the GTX works great. The sole surprisingly provides a good amount of grip as well. These shoes are also very durable.
My dislikes: this isn't the most supportive shoe. While I like the flexibility/mobility and weight of the shoe, it doesn't provide the most support - a little give and take obviously. Also, the laces - they don't want to stay tight at all. They loosen up after about 10-15 minutes of hiking/running.
While I use these to crossover, they are designed primarily as a running shoe - something to keep in mind. Overall, I'm still very happy with the shoe and would highly recommend them.

I've been racing on the original C-Lites for 3 seasons but for whatever reason, never looked seriously at La Sportiva for training shoes, partly because I have wider feet. The three pairs of C-Lites I've had took some stretching before they were comfortable. This season I thought I'd take a look at the Wildcat 2.0 GTX as it is listed as having a wider fit, which it does. I have been very impressed! This is a very comfortable shoe that fits well and performs even better. It is nicely cushioned yet responsive. Its ideal for early spring running here on Mt Hood as there is lots of slush and mud which this shoe does an admirable job of shedding. Traction is also good. I am awaiting a pair of Helios for summer training and will be interested in comparing the two shoes.

I'm a bigger guy and tend to run a bit heavy footed, that's probably the military training.... I enjoy getting out and running, and when I put a shoe on I want it to fit right the first time I put it on, I want it to be comfortable, and a bit loose in the toe box, this shoe did exactly that, felt warm in the snow, a bit slippery with the rubber gripping, but more comfortable around the ankle where you tie it down vs. my last pair of trail shoes. I'm sold on these. I'll be a customer for the time being until I wear these out.
