Good solid shoes, I used these for a three month backpacking trip which is not at all what they are ment for but I needed a light GTX shoe and chose these. Only complaint is that after only a few weeks of steady use the mesh started separating from the lower part of the shoe and then water started getting in soon after. That said I was happy with how light they are, their ability to dry quickly, and they took the weight of a pack well.

I really dig these shoes for runs both on and off trail but more so when i'm not on pavement. This is the second pair of Sportiva runners I have had and I came back for a reason. I really like the support I feel like I had laterally on the trail. The cushioning is just right for my liking and the distances I put in. As for the GTX liner I sometimes wonder why I go for shoes with a waterproof liner since when its raining water is certainly going to get into the shoe over the top. However, when the rain stops, I found the puddles are no match and my feet stay dry. As for the sizing I feel they are true to size, especially if you know and use the euro sizes.

These shoes perform year 'round in all conditions. Gore Tex makes for a great summer shoe too because it keep the dirt out. They edge really well and grip in most all conditions. Please keep making this shoe! I'm ordering my 5th pair now.
