These boots are very well made and hugely overbuilt and will last a long time. I have a "low volume" foot which I was able to accommodate by adjusting the removable tongue until I had an excellent fit. The website says to go up a 1/2 size but from my experience, depending on the socks you intend to wear and/or a personal orthotic, you may want to go up a full size. Try at least two pair and plan on a break in period because they are heavy duty. After two seasons I found they work great on long approaches and have a stability is is very satisfying.

The Lhotse GTX is a superb boot; fit is excellent (I have narrow feet) and had no issues with blisters or hot spots, right out of the box. The boot is warm, supportive, and works very well with my BD Sabretooth crampons. It is a bit on the stiff side but climbs very well. It is a great boot for winter climbing in the Eastern Sierra Nevada range, as well as the local mtns near home.
