Excellent boots.
+ves.
Great in snow, ice - grip, stiffness, warmth, performance.
Great edging.
Very warm and never had a problem with leaking.
Excellent with crampons.
Very stiff, noticeable on approaches/voralpen, but ideal when it gets snowy.

-ves.
Narrow forefoot, which I thought would stretch a little to mold to my feet, but did not.

I have owned several pairs of the"Silver Bullets" and have used them on month long expeditions from the Wind River Range to the Argentine Andes and ice climbing on sub zero New Hampshire days.

I find the boot to be super comfortable and the Gore Tex membrane to be spectacular. I have spent many days traveling over heavy wet snow while wearing these boots and have found that the combo Gore Tex and insulation do a good job of keeping my feet dry. As you might expect, the boot edges like a dream on steep rock. I don't usually find these boots to be too heavy or stiff for the miles of trail pounding that can often be found on the approach to the mountains.
