Excellent boot, need to work on durability.
I have the 1.0 boot and I've never owned such a comfortable and versatile boot. These things have been extremely thought out. That said, the durability leaves a lot to be desired. One of my tongues broke in half right on the "EZ FLEX" flex point on one of the first tours out (it was super cold, so maybe got a bit brittle). The single screws retaining the buckles come loose pretty much every time I'm out. However, the worst part is the wear in the ski/walk switch mechanism. After only two seasons, the little rivet that holds the achilles bar against the ski/walk pin has worn all the way through from rubbing while touring (normal operation). The boot will still go into ski mode, with the pressure of heel and calve keeping the bar and pin connected, but if I really start torquing on the cuff rotation while skiing, the bar will pop off the pin without warning, putting the boot into walk mode while the switch is still int he ski position. Wondering if any of these issues have been worked out in version 2.0. If so, this is hands down the best boot I have ever owned, just want them to last more than two seasons of moderate use.

Awesome 4 buckle boot
Amazing boots, nice upgrade from the original. Do not fit Dynafit Beast bindings. Very important to check hardware before each use and tighten. Use blue loctite. Also important to not put away wet, especially in the Northwest where the snow tends to be wet/sticky. This can corrode the ski/walk mechanism and impede usability. White lithium grease works great on the walk-bar.

Sooo Good!
These boots have exceeded all of my expectations for a touring boot. The range of motion while touring is amazing and the comfort of the boot let's me stay out all day. The downhill performance is spot on with a 110/115 flex boot. Make sure to thermo-form the liner for the ultimate comfort. The buckles are a little weird at first but once you figure them out they are super easy to use and the easiest buckle to adjust in the field that I have ever had.
