Due to International Trade Agreements, La Sportiva N.A. is NOT able to assist customers outside of North America with warranty requests.  If you are an international customer, please contact the La Sportiva International Distributor near you or contact La Sportiva Italy at lasportiva@lasportiva.com.

 

RETURN POLICY

Note: Applies ONLY to products purchased directly from La Sportiva N.A., Inc.

If you have purchased a product directly from La Sportiva NA, Inc., you may return it to us for a complete refund of the purchase price (not including shipping fees) as long as the product is in factory fresh condition and returned within 30 days of purchase. Sorry, we do NOT take back worn or used product.

In order to issue a refund, the item(s) must be in factory fresh condition and returned in the original product packaging. Repackaging fees will apply if the original product packaging is damaged.

Please contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and then ship the product back to us for a refund.

We will need the following information in order to issue a Return Authorization number (RA#):

• Name
• E-Mail
• Phone Number
• Shipping Address
• Product Name/Description
• Size and Color
• Original Place of Purchase
• Original Date of Purchase
• Order # (If purchased from La Sportiva)
• Pictures of your footwear product that clearly show the area of concern
• Brief explanation of what happened


Please note: All Products returned for warranty evaluation must be clean and dry

Once the above information has been submitted to La Sportiva, you will be assigned a return authorization number (RA#), which opens your case. Note: receiving an RA# does not guarantee that the product is covered under warranty.

Send your package via UPS, certified mail, FedEx or any traceable shipping method. We recommend that you insure your package against loss en-route to La Sportiva. La Sportiva N.A., Inc. is not responsible for packages until they arrive at our offices. La Sportiva does not reimburse for shipping costs, and we do not issue call tags.

All warranties and returns are typically processed within 2-3 weeks of receipt of product. You will be contacted if something delays this process, such as a repair or a backordered product.

FOOTWEAR (NON-SKI) WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a La Sportiva footwear product. All the products we manufacture are covered under a Warranty. Only original La Sportiva materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, improper fit, improper use, or improper care. There is no implied life span of a shoe, due to the variables that can affect footwear.

La Sportiva’s Footwear Warranty does not extend to any La Sportiva product that has been resoled, repaired or otherwise modified. Any La Sportiva products to be considered for warranty must be returned to La Sportiva for evaluation. Upon inspection La Sportiva will either replace the product or repair it.

Not covered under warranty:

• Normal wear and tear
• Improper use
• Improper fit
• Improper care and poor maintenance
• Modification or alterations of the product
• Damages due to storage or transportation


As much as you love your La Sportiva product, please understand that no matter how well you care for your La Sportiva product, materials will begin to experience natural break down and will start to show wear.

APPAREL WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a La Sportiva apparel product. All the apparel we manufacture is covered under a 1 year Warranty, from date of purchase, against manufacture defects in materials and craftsmanship. Only original La Sportiva materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty for the original owner.

La Sportiva’s Apparel Warranty does not extend to La Sportiva apparel product that has been repaired or otherwise modified. Any La Sportiva product to be considered for warranty must be returned to La Sportiva for evaluation.

Not covered under warranty:

• Normal wear and tear
• Improper use
• Improper fit
• Improper care and poor maintenance
• Modification or alterations of the product
• Damages due to storage or transportation
• Loss of DWR (Durable Water Resistance)
• Abrasions and rips/tears of material
• Fabric wearing thin
• Stains on material


Some common manufacture defects are:

• Broken/sticky zippers
• Hook and loop closure system issues
• Elastic hem/hood cord issues/broken toggles

SKI PRODUCTS (HARDGOODS) WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing a La Sportiva ski product. All ski products that are purchased "new" are covered under a 1 year Warranty, from date of purchase, against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship. Only original La Sportiva materials and workmanship are covered under Warranty for the original owner. Any La Sportiva product to be considered for warranty must be returned to La Sportiva for evaluation.

Not covered under warranty:

• Abnormal rock or rail-induced damage (for example, impact of anything other than snow)
• Scratches, chips, cosmetic blemishes or indentations on top sheet, sidewalls, edges or bases and damages to the ski caused by binding mounting, adjustments or use
• Normal wear and tear
• Improper use
• Improper fit
• Improper binding mounting
• Improper care and poor maintenance
• Damages due to storage or transportation
