Cameron Hörst

Discipline: Climbing Team

ABOUT:

Cameron is known for his focus, discipline, and power, both as a climber and an award-winning multi-sport high school athlete. As a youngster, Cameron quickly ascended the grade scale with his first 5.13 at age 9 and three 5.14a sends at age 11. He has since climbed more than twenty 8b+/14a and harder routes, including his hardest yet “Pain Makes Me Stronger Every Day” (5.14c) in the Frankenjura. For his accomplishments as a youth climber, Cameron was awarded Climbing magazine’s Golden Piton award and, along with his brother Jonathan, the “New Kids on the Block” OLGA award by Europe’s CLIMAX magazine. Graduating high school in June 2019, Cameron now sets his full-time focus on climbing travel and pushing his limits.
