AMAZING SHOE
Not much I can say bad about this shoe. I started climbing about 15 months ago and about 6 months in I was looking for a better, high performance shoe. Tried them on at my local gym and absolutely fell in love. I couldn't believe a climbing shoe could be so comfortable, even after sizing down one size from street shoes. At the time I was a 5.9-5.10 climber, it immediately made me a 5.11 climber. Fast forward 9 months and i'm able to confidently climb 5.12's and just finished my first 5.13.

I go to the gym 3-4 times per week for anywhere between 2-4 hours and these shoes hold up like no other. Steep price but a great product.

SaWeet!!!!
I love my Katana Lace up for just about everything. The one shoe wonder shoe. Long multi-pitch granite trad routes and limestone sport climbs alike they excel. I have had several pairs and they last and last. Each pair took several resoles and keep on climbing. They are comfortable and precise on everything from technical granite edges to greasy limestone smears to thin sandstone cracks and toeing into plastic. If you can only have one shoe this is it!

High Performance Trad and Sport Climbing Shoe
The Katana Lace is my new favorite shoe for my hardest trad and sport climbs. Sized right (not painful, yet snug with no dead air space), they shine on all-day climbs and even with a tight fit, I'm comfortable for climbing pitch after pitch of difficult climbing. If you're looking for a higher performing TC Pro (yes, this is more precise and delivers better edging), this is it. This is my go-to shoe for trad climbs in Eldo, thin cracks, face-climbing, and sport climbs that demand precise technical edging. I don't use them for sustained crack climbing (not for Indian Creek or offwidths), and consider these a "specialist" shoe and they shine in this regard!

Quality Shoe
If you want just a single shoe to do everything, this is it. It excels at crack climbing, edging, and sport routes. For intermediate bouldering, this thing is a quality option too. However, it starts to struggle with anything extremely overhung. The lack of rubber on the toe doesn't allow for confident toe hooks and the edge can struggle compared to its grip counterpart. If one isn't looking to crack climb, the skwama's are a very good all around shoe and less expensive.

Katana Lace Review
Depending on how one sizes it, this is truly a shoe that will climb anything. I feel that it excels in the edging arena and on long routes (if not too tight) because of the stiffness of the shoe. My foot is middle of the road volume wise and I size this the same as my Ultra Raptors for long routes. Climb on!

Great overall shoe!
Had a pair of finales for my first quality shoes, and noticed my climbing improve from my first pair. When I finally got the Katanas, the tiny edges I could confidently stand on was mind blowing. great overall shoe as well. Dont even use them for indoors and basically break em out when I want to push the grade on lead or really hard top rope sending. Super stoked on these shoes and really glad I chose to make the investment.

Review for KATANA LACE
My first pair of climbing shoes i've ever bought and they have made me a 5.10 climber. I learned how to lead in these shoes and they have never failed me in a tight spot. I'm climbing 5.11 now and I've had the shoes for 6 months now, and they're still working as well as the first day, the edging i do is perfect for indoor sport climbing. I RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Review for KATANA LACE
I had an older pair of begginer la sportivas that served me well, so for my next pair I checked out the other models they had to offer. I tested several at the gym, and the katana felt the best between it, the miura, and the futura, so I bought it. The fit is excellent, and the laces clamp down on every part of my foot. The sizing is true to normal shoe size, so go a half size down from your comfortable sneakers (note: I've got wide feet and high arches, so this may not hold true if you have narrow feet). On day one I blasted through several boulder problems in the V3-V5 range outdoors. This shoe performed equally well in pockets, tiny edges, and toe-in cracks. After 15 minutes I was confident using whatever I had at my disposal with the shoe. This is by far the most versatile, comfortable climbing shoe I've ever worn. My only complaint is the slightly steep price, but I guarantee you it's worth it.
