Kevin Lindlau

Discipline: Climbing Team

ABOUT ME:

Originating from Wisconsin, Kevin's stoke for climbing wasn’t ignited until moving to Durango, Colorado where the abundance of rock in town drew him in. After a few years of climbing in the area, he ventured to the Ouray Ice festival where he saw competition Mixed Climbing for the first time. This changed everything! Soon his passion shifted from the rock to ice, where his mentor Marcus Garcia guided him along the path into competition Ice Climbing. Today, Kevin competes on the USA Ice Climbing team and for the past 4 years has competed around the globe on the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup circuit.

Recently Kevin moved to Bozeman, Montana where he wasted no time and went straight to work building a small bouldering cave at a local gym dedicated to Mixed Climbing. He hopes this will aid him to share his passion of the sport and grow the local Ice community in town. Along with this, he has his goals set on starting a Youth Ice Climbing team in the Bozeman area in hopes of pursuing his passion for coaching. Kevin's ambition is to share his passion for the sport of climbing and get the stoke high for the future generation of crushers!
