Leslie Timms

Discipline: Climbing Team

Leslie Timms is a fixture in the Ontario climbing community as professional rock guide, climber and owner of On the Rocks Climbing Guides in Thornbury, Ontario. She spends April through October each year running a successful guiding company and teaching PCGI certification courses across Ontario. On her days off, she can be found wandering around the Niagara Escarpment in search of new lines or pushing herself on the local sport, trad, and mixed style of climbing. Leslie strives to be well rounded in all disciplines of rock climbing, but finds the most joy in the creative process of developing new climbs or pushing her mental and physical limits on demanding traditional routes. Leslie and her husband travel during the winter months to climb, and she has reached high levels on boulders, sport climbs and traditional routes all over the world. As a self described “lifer”, Leslie is a climber for life and wants to make a positive impact on the climbing community along the way through climbing education, route development, festivals/events and land stewardship.
