Good shoes but serious Duribility issues
I Bought these at the mountain shop in Yosemite they lasted a few days before the rubber on the sides started to peel pretty badly. I was hoping to have these for a while. I wanted to get them resoled but it doesn't seem worth it. I was better off buying a different shoe. Other than the duribility issues they are comfortable and great crack climbing shoes.

great starter shoe
I picked up a pair of these as my first pair of climbing shoes. They are extremely comfortable and can hold up to almost any type of rock. I do wish that they could be a little more aggressive. After I broke them in the toe began to rise and is now pointing up instead of down.

A classic in every way
My first pair of climbing shoes thanks to a very strong recommendation from a close friend. Like all things Italian, the design is beautiful. It belongs on the rock. The leather forms to the feet in a minimum amount of time. The rubber on the sole sets the standard for all climbing shoes. The toe box is comfortable and yet, the point works very well in crevices and pockets. I've worn these in the gym, bouldering and doing slab climbing and I have never felt disappointment in the shoes, only my lack of ability. I've noticed that beginners and experts alike wear this shoe. Its so rare that a climbing shoes is this versatile and has been a best seller for decades. The craftsmanship that it took to design and create this shoe is second to none. Nobody who has obtained these shoes has complained, nobody. You'll be very happy you bought these shoes, your feet will thank you too.

All good mate
I see these shoes all over the gym, and yet there's only 5 reviews? This is my first pair of climbing shoes and it's been a great two weeks since I got them. I matched my normal shoe size (10.5 aka 33.5) and their wonderful without socks. Love the laces, love the leather, just wish I had a color option. No complaints.

Review for MYTHOS
I have had the same pair for the last 16yrs, this was when they were purple and dyed your feet purple for a while. i have had them resoled about 8 times due to lots of days out a year. i have only had a few different types of shoes before finding mythos. i love the comfort of all day multi-pitch routes with these shoes. i highly recommend having a pair in your bag.

Review for MYTHOS
I have had these for about 17 years. Bought these too when the Mythos were purple. Had them resolved many times. Tried a few different shoes, but this one will get you to the top! Snug, light and comfy. I can boulder or climb all day in these shoes. I'm glad they still make them, now my wife can have a pair too. These are awesome shoes, grab a pair or two :)

Review for MYTHOS
I have used the same pair of these shoes in the Ruth Gorge of Alaska, new routing on the alpine granite of Montana, and crack climbing in Indian creek, Utah. A high performing, versatile, and comfortable shoe.

Review for MYTHOS
I am fairly new to climbing and while using "one of the other guy's" Shoe, it had seemed like my progression stopped, especially on smaller edges and all smears. I upgraded to the Mythos and noticed an immediate improvement, which helped my confidence more than anything. I do not bounce my heel to check for grip on those smaller holds anymore because I know the Mythos will just go!

Review for MYTHOS
The La Sportiva Mythos is an amazingly comfortable climbing shoe that feels almost like a moccasin yet performs well on traditional climbing applications (indoors and outdoors). I really appreciate having a pair of Mythos climbing shoes for days when I want to train on the indoor big walls or play around on boulders (outdoors). I use a lace up for indoor and outdoor bouldering. I highly recommend the La Sportiva Mythos for outdoor crack climbing and indoor top roping. A note on sizing. I tried several sizes before selecting a size 44 (11.5) for overall comfort. Initially, I tried size 43 and found them uncomfortably tight. A more experienced climber may like to size down a full size or size and a half. I am climbing in a pair that matches my size in a running shoe.
