My Favorite summer alpine boot
Full disclosure that I'm a La Sportiva Ambassador but I still wanted to give these boots a huge shout out. I have been using these boots and all its predecessors for well over a decade and can say that I still really love these for summer alpine objectives like the Kieners route on Longs peak, The West Ridge of Forbidden or as I'm currently using them in the Alps on classics like the Breighthorn 1/2 traverse and the Matterhorn. The are light, nimble and take a crampon well enough for steep snow and moderate ice moves. I will use them for temps well down in to the 20's (Fahrenheit for us silly Americans:)) and be just fine. I would not use them for climbs like Mt Rainer or early spring or late fall missions in the alpine if its getting colder out. Make sure to get a crampon that has a front toe strap and not a bail as these boots are not designed for the bail and in fact I prefer to use a full strap on crampon on these for ease of use and less pressure on the heel from a rear bail. I have climbed moderate rock ridge in these boots with even some 5.8/5.9 moves and feel like these boots edge well if you need to make a few moves here and there. I size mine the same as my other La Sportiva boots and approach shoes and feel like the fit is perfect for performance but still gives me enough toe room to stay warm.

The Standard Mountain Boot
An excellent all around mountain boot for warmer conditions. Climbs rock shockingly well, even for friction moves. Solid with crampons for steep snow and moderate ice. So far its been my do it all boot for spring and early summer in the Rockies and summer in the Alps. Only problem is remembering which ones are yours in Euro huts since so many climbers use them.

NICE CAMO BOOTS, GREAT IDEA TO BREAK INTO HUNTING MARKET.
LITTLE PRICY BUT DAMN THAT'S A NICE BOOT. I CAN'T WAIT TO TEST IT OUT ON A COLORADO ELK HUNT OR MAYBE EVEN PENNSYVANIA WHITETAIL DEER. I WONDER HOW MUCH FLEX THE TOE HAS? I LOVE THE CAMO! AND THE CLIMBING COLORS. GREAT BOOT HOPE YOU SELL LOTS OF THEM.
