More sizes means a better fit! La Sportiva shoes are built on European half sizes which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives us five extra sizes per size run, which gives you a better fit!

Technical, but no durability.
These boots really flop from the otherwise awesome legacy of Sportiva's Trango series. Plastic eyelets and lacing hooks? They sheered off in no time. The soft black rubber rubbed off all too quickly and the sole wore down in just a few big approaches and climbs. Too bad, I've had two pairs of Trango Extremes and I loved them. These are not durable at all. Come on, La Sportiva. Put a little durability back into your boots. I went to the Scarpa Rebel Pro GTX, which is much more durable. That was hard for me to do since I am very loyal to La Sportiva. I've had rock shoes that lasted longer.

excellent
Bought these as my ice "cragging" boot. Super comfy, light, warm and climb like I am wearing rock shoes. I took them up Pyramid peak in late June knowing there would be lots of snow, and they hiked surprisingly well. Would recommend.
